Why I’m Running

I’m running because families in our district deserve experienced, solutions-driven leadership grounded in facts, evidence, and real-world experience — not slogans or political theater.

Too many politicians focus on sound bites. I focus on policy that works.

As your representative in Congress, I will:

• Lower everyday costs for working families.
• Protect Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and Veterans’ programs.
• Make childcare, elder care, and disability care affordable.
• Strengthen education and skills training so people can thrive in tomorrow’s economy.
• Defend reproductive freedom and our fundamental rights.
• Keep our communities safe from gun violence.
• Protect our democracy and America’s principled global leadership.
• Deliver practical, innovative policies that reflect how the world — and economy — really works.

I believe we can build a stronger, fairer America — and I’m ready to lead the effort.

• Unique experience and problem-solving skills — I’ve built businesses, created jobs, shaped policy, and created programs that work. I’m the only one in our race to have simultaneously raised kids, managed a small business, and taken care of aging and disabled parents — and have federal policy experience.
• Innovation mindset rooted in solving real problems. My small business was recognized by Fast Company as one of the Most Innovative. I’ll bring that same approach to Congress—questioning outdated assumptions, challenging the status quo, and finding smarter ways to deliver results for our communities.
